The Strategic Planning and Project Acting Department at RAKTA organized an introductory workshop for employees on the Authentic strategy, which aims to introduce the most important elements of the original strategy in vision, mission, and authentic values. The workshop also touched on an explanation that clarifies the differences between the authentic and non-authentic strategies and ended with the implementation of a questionnaire on the authentic strategy prepared by Sheikh Saqr program for government excellence.
RAKTA launched “Don’t feel burdened” initiative in cooperation with the Red Crescent. This initiative aims at increasing the level of health awareness among drivers and raise their culture of preventive and occupational health and safety and environmental measures. 500 boxes were distributed containing protective equipment such as masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and vitamin C.
This comes within the framework of the authority’s keenness to enhance its social responsibility to protect society members and focus on educating drivers about the risks that can be exposed under the current circumstances.
Mr. Mohammed Hashem Esmaeel, Director of Quality Control and Operations stated that this initiative comes within the Authority’s awareness and educational initiatives. This reflects the Authority’s interest in educating drivers and introducing them to their duties to maintain and establish health and safety as a lifestyle, which leads to creating a positive and sustainable social impact.
He also confirmed the importance of coordination and joint cooperation between all institutions, government agencies and public benefit societies to help in reducing the spread of COVID 19, led by the Emirati Red Crescent, for the Authority’s participation in this community initiative.
RAKTA announced the allocation of vehicles equipped to transport the recovered from quarantine sites in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to their homes inside and outside the emirate, in coordination with the Ministry of Health represented by Ibrahim Obaidullah Hospital, and this comes within its community initiatives and its national responsibility to confront the new Corona virus (COVID 19).
Where, H.E.Eng Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – RAKTA General Manager confirmed that the provision of safe transport operations comes within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to strengthen and support the efforts of the first line of defense to confront the new Corona virus.
His Excellency indicated that a hotline has been allocated with the emergency and crisis management team in the authority to transfer recovered cases on a daily basis or when needed , In addition to taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers, the authority also provided the vehicles with plastic insulation and they were subjected to daily sterilization operations after each trip.
Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which falls on 19 Ramadan each year, it is a day when we remember the values of tolerance and human giving that left by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan “May God rest his soul” in the people of the Emirates.
In appreciation of the workers group and their unlimited tender, the world celebrates the “International Labour Day”, which falls on May 1st every year.
Thus, RAKTA thanks all the workers for their efforts and advancing the development of the United Arab Emirates in all levels.
In cooperation with Ras Al Khaimah Medical District – Saqr Hospital, RAKTA has launched the medicine delivery initiative to patients in various regions of Ras Al Khaimah. The Authority has provided a number of vehicles that operate daily to serve hospital patients from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. This initiative aims to facilitate the process of obtaining health services for patients in order to make them happy and avoid going to hospitals. In addition, it is going to reduce the pressure on the medical staff and avoiding the process of mixing with others while supporting our medical heroes.
RAKTA also keen to take all preventive measures through the safe and reliable delivery of medicines in order to preserve the community’s health and safety.
HE.Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – RAKTA General Manager, pointed out the importance of coordination and cooperation among various institutions and government agencies to implement community initiatives that support the health sector in Ras Al Khaimah emirate. Where the initiative is a great opportunity to contribute to community service and to enhance the partnership between various government agencies in a way that serves the public interest.
As part of the activities and initiatives of the Authority for Environmental Sustainability, RAK Transport Authority, in cooperation with the General Services Department, implemented the initiative to plant the trees in Saqr Public Park, which consists of planting 200 trees.
Through this initiative, the Authority aims to spread awareness and promote a culture of community and environmental responsibility among community members.
