H.E. Dr. Saif Muhammad Al-Ghais, General Manager of the Environment Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah honored H.E. Eng Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA at the headquarters of the Authority. This is due to the Authority obtaining the second place at the level of government entities in the Environmental Sustainability Award, organized by the Environment Protection and Development Authority in 2020, in appreciation of its efforts in implementing strategic projects and initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and carbon emissions and contributing to achieve environmental sustainability in the emirate.
The honoring was attended by a delegation from the Environment Protection and Development Authority and the Environmental Sustainability Team at RAKTA.
H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA participated in an interview with Ras Al Khaimah Radio in the live broadcasting program, As H.E spoke about the launch of e-hailing service for taxis and limos in Ras Al Khaimah to achieve the vision of Ras Al Khaimah Government 2030 to achieve happiness for the residents of the emirate by providing distinguished services to citizens, residents and tourists.
5 July 2020 – Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority has entered into
an agreement with Hala and Careem to provide the first e-hailing service for
taxis and limos in the emirate.
His Excellency Engineer Esmaeel Al Blooshi, RAKTA General Manager stated that this initiative reflects RAKTA’s commitment to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; increasing the level of happiness in the society, through advanced services, excellent hospitality, and seamless transport infrastructure for all citizens, residents and tourists.
Mr Al-Blooshi also stated, “This step comes from the authority’s commitment to uplift the transport sector and ensure the provision of safe, reliable and smart transport services. It is in line with the authority’s strategy of digital and smart transformation, to keep pace with the global transformation standards in the field of urban transport planning – whereby the aim is to facilitate movement of individuals around the city, reducing private car ownership.”
He also added, “The smart booking platform has not
only become the most effective tool nowadays to align supply with demand, but
also to enable people to smartly and seamlessly travel around the city.”
This service will provide customers with a smarter way
to travel, giving them access to several benefits, including knowing their
rides ETA, fare estimate and route upfront, along with their driver’s details.
App booking also enables a host of payment options, with cash, card, or in app
payments possible, while riders will automatically collect Reward points for
each trip. Hala rides will offer the most affordable option, with the added
benefit of no surge pricing during peak hours.

Within the framework of the RAKTA’s efforts to tackle the Coronavirus, H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA, and Mr. Mohamed Hashem, Director of Quality Control and Operations Department, conducts an inspection visit to Al Hamra Call Center, bus station, Al Hamra Limousine Company, and the Customer Happiness Center to follow up on their commitment to apply preventive measures. H.E affirmed during the inspection tour that the precautionary and control plans come within the framework of seeking to harness all the energies and capabilities aimed at continuing to tackle the virus and ensuring the health and safety of all society members.

Which was organized by Ras Al Khaimah Education Zone under the slogan “Responsibility Partners”. This is under the patronage and presence of H.E. Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Sultan Al Zaabi, Manager of the Customer Happiness Center participated in the eleventh social service conference 2020 within the techniques of remote communication. Which was organized by the Social Services Department in Sharjah under the slogan “social capital and its impact on social development”. The conference included various discussions and sessions on brainstorming and exchanging views to promote and develop social services between institutions.
The Board of Directors of RAKTA held its third
meeting for the year 2020, headed by H.E. Nasser Salem Muraddad – Chairman of
the Board of Directors and in the presence of H.E. Youssef Mohamed Esmaeel –
Vice Chairman of the Board and members of the Board of Directors. Also attended
the meeting H.E.Eng Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – RAKTA General Manager.
In the meeting, the council discussed the
measures taken by the authority during the previous period regarding preventive
safety measures from the pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID19), where the council
thanked all RAKTA employees for their great efforts to maintain the progress of
operational procedures, continue to provide all services to customers, and
non-stop Or interruption during the previous period. In addition to the success
achieved by the authority in the remote work experience.
The Council also reviewed some of the
Authority’s projects included in the approved work plans for the year 2020,
including (Careem) Application launch project in Ras Al Khaimah, as approved by
the Council as a pilot phase during the coming period. The Council also
reviewed the procedures for regulating the limousine sector (luxury vehicles)
in The Emirate.

success to the authority in achieving all its service projects that are in line

RAKTA held an Employees
Forum that would enhance the communication between the administration and
